A super reflection. I have always wondered why Christmas is celebrated at MidWinter and Easter in the Spring. I always thought they should be switched. The Mid-Winter celebrations of many Northern cultures was one of light. And to me Easter is the ultimate celebration of light, and Christmas is a festival of birth, which to me signifies Spring.
But I like them both, and I doubt the Church will change it for me :)
